Every ad online uses "BUY NOW! 50% OFF!" What’s a cleaner, more conversational ad style that has worked well for your brand?

I usually start with the customer problem instead of the discount. A cleaner ad might lead with a specific outcome, mention one proof point, and use a softer CTA like “see the checklist” or “compare options.” It still sells, but it feels more like useful guidance than pressure.

I’ve found that specificity makes ad copy feel less pushy. Instead of leading with urgency, describe the exact problem and the practical outcome the reader can expect. A small proof point, such as a result, example, or customer observation, adds credibility without hype. I also prefer calls to action like “see how it works” over “buy now.” The copy can still be persuasive while sounding like a useful recommendation. Testing conversational language against a more promotional version usually reveals what the audience trusts.
