Should I focus on being a generic youtuber without a specialization or should I pick and focus on a niche?

If you’re just starting out and are unsure which path to take, a hybrid approach (broad niche) might be a great way to test the waters. This lets you explore different topics within a specific theme, helping you identify what you’re most passionate about and what your audience responds to. Over time, as you grow, you can either focus on deepening your niche or expand into more general content based on what resonates with your audience.

Always ensure there’s enough content you can create around your chosen niche. A niche should be specific, but not so narrow that you run out of things to talk about after a few months.
