I'm interested in getting either one of the 2-in-1 tablets/laptops (like the Surface Pro) or a full-on laptop. I will use it mostly for work and presentations, but I might be on the go a lot. What do you suggest?

If you're not going to do heavy graphics or video editing, then I will go with the Surface. It's functional, easy to use and fits a lifestyle on the go. But if you really need the horsepower, then I suggest you go get a laptop instead.

I agree with Francis. Unless you plan to do editing, Surface is a really good laptop. Allows you to be very mobile but still a powerhouse for office/business work.

Personally, I'd rather get a macbook. It's an investment and most MacBooks nowadays are powerhouses in terms of what you can do with them. You can even edit videos on them and the price isn't far off from the likes of a Microsoft Surface.

I agree with Bobby, Macbooks are a great investment for its power and reliability.

What are the reason why you would want a 2 in 1?

Hi Christopher, I have a surface laptop and the reason why I bought mine is because of versatility.

What are those versatility Laura? Can't you do that with a normal laptop?

I like writing my notes and I don't want to have a separate tablet just for note taking so that's why I got the surface laptop.

That's actually a really good use case of a 2 in 1 laptop, I'll keep that in mind.
