Yes and no, having passion is great but don't forget about other factors such as profit, competitors, knowledge and expertise.

A broad niche will make it hard to stand out and could result in a lot of competition. It’s difficult to build authority and attract targeted traffic when you're trying to serve a broad audience with vastly different interests and needs.
