I used to think getting people into my store was the hardest part. Turns out, getting them to trust me enough to buy was the real challenge.

I’ve been experimenting with product pages, pricing, checkout flow, and small details like reviews and shipping information and some tiny changes made a bigger difference than expensive marketing campaigns.

What’s one ecommerce change that unexpectedly improved your conversions?

Oh man, this hits home. I was getting thousands of hits on my custom press-on nails site and zero orders for weeks.

Tell me about it. I run a custom web dev service site—plenty of clicks, absolutely dead checkout. What changed for you?

Adding short videos showing how the press-ons look on real hands in natural lighting. Photos just weren't cutting it.

Interesting. People probably needed to see the quality in motion. For my tech agency, stock graphics felt too fake.
