I feel a lot more comfortable buying from a new store when they have an easy return policy. It takes away some of the risk, especially when you’re not sure how the product will turn out once it arrives. Would free returns make you more likely to try a store you haven’t bought from before?

Free returns wouldn’t be a big factor for me unless the product is something I’m unsure about. I’d probably care more about the product quality, reviews, and how reliable the store seems in the first place.

I’d probably only consider free returns if I’m buying something for the first time. If I already know the product and trust the store, it wouldn’t really affect my decision that much.

Definitely. I’d feel more comfortable trying a new store too when I know returning the product won’t be a hassle.
That would definitely make trying a new store less risky. If the return process is simple, I’d be more willing to give the store a chance even if I haven’t bought from them before.

I agree that the ability to return goods is always a bonus. In addition, I believe that such a policy is a good incentive, particularly for low-risk items, such as comfort clothes or shoes. However, not all companies can afford such a policy, and it is also possible not to achieve the desired effect.

It can also make customers feel more comfortable trying something new, especially when they’re unsure about the fit or quality.

Yeah, I think it really comes down to whether the business can handle the extra costs and logistics. It can be helpful, but it’s definitely not something every seller needs to offer.
