Do you deal with disrespectful viewers during a livestream?

Some people join livestreams just to leave rude comments or get a reaction from the host. It can be hard to keep the conversation going while dealing with that, especially when you're trying to showcase your products. Would you ignore them and focus on your audience, or step in and address their behavior?

I'd set clear boundaries with viewers because being live doesn't mean you have to tolerate disrespect just to keep people watching. If someone keeps making rude comments, I'd warn them once and block them if they still won't stop. There's no point in letting one person ruin the experience for everyone else who's genuinely interested in the products. You can be entertaining and approachable without letting people walk all over you.

I'd just block them and move on. There's no point wasting your energy on people who only want to cause trouble during your livestream. You're there to showcase your products and entertain your audience, not argue with someone who has no intention of being respectful. Better to keep the space comfortable for the viewers who are actually there to support you.

Yep, I do that too. I've learned that not every comment deserves a response, especially when you can tell the person isn't interested in having a decent conversation. I'd rather focus on the people who genuinely want to interact and enjoy the livestream. It makes the whole experience less stressful.

Well, you need to address it at some point because even if they're just trolls, their behavior can still affect how people see your business. You also need to set boundaries during your livestreams so viewers know what is and isn't acceptable. Being friendly with your audience doesn't mean you have to tolerate disrespect, especially when your business is involved.

It's not just about the business, either. Sometimes, those comments can affect your mood, too. Even if you try to ignore them, hearing negative things over and over can eventually get to you, especially when you're putting your time and effort into what you're doing. You're human, after all, so it's understandable to feel affected by what people say.
