Do You Offer Free Shipping or Lower Product Prices?

I’m curious what people actually prefer when shopping online. Say you’re looking at two stores selling the same ₱1,000 product, but one offers it for ₱900 plus shipping while the other sells it for ₱1,000 with free shipping. Which one would you be more likely to buy from?

Usually, I just go with platforms that already offer free shipping. It makes the total price easier to understand, and I don’t have to worry about extra shipping costs at checkout.

Same here. I usually go for platforms that already offer free shipping since it’s easier to know the total cost without worrying about extra fees at checkout.

Sometimes I’d prefer to offer a lower product price, especially since some online shopping platforms have certain programs that can make it more appealing for both the seller and the buyer.

I think both can work depending on the store. Sometimes they offer both options, and that’s usually what I go for since I can just choose whichever deal works better.

That’s a good way to get more out of your money. Some stores even let you combine discounts with free shipping, so it’s worth checking the available deals before placing an order.

Some businesses actually use both strategies, especially when they have old stocks that aren't selling well. They might lower the prices and offer free shipping to make the products more appealing and clear out their inventory faster. It’s a practical way to attract buyers without letting unsold items sit around for too long.
