I liked using linkedin as a platform for networking but sometimes I just feel like I'm coming off as too much of a salesy person. How do you not sound like you're trying to sell something.

Do you try to personalize your message to them? Maybe you're just reusing a generic introduction message to them that's why you're sound like a salesperson.

Having a genuine conversation with them will help with that a lot

Thank you for your insight guys. What are some ways I can keep my LinkedIn profile professional but personable?

Avoid directly asking for a meeting or sale. If your goal is that, do it in a casual conversation that wouldn't come off as a sales talk

Don't be too formal. Use a creative way to sell or promote producst and services.

Your tone must be conversational. A conversational tone is more relatable and less intimidating. Use everyday language and avoid industry jargon, which can come across as a sales pitch.
