Im curious as to what kind of market profile can you actually market to on LinkedIn. Who is the best target market

Typically you find more corporate oriented people on LinkedIn so you have to keep that in mind. It works when you offer services that are geared towards professionals, like trainings, human resources, virtual assistant services, and maybe SaaS products.
 
Entrepreneurs and business types often have well maintained Linkedin pages. I found things like HR services, training, and products related to organizations (like SaaS, or any new office tech) are quite popular on LinkedIn. If you have like consultancy services they will do well marketing on Linkedin.
 
I agree with Bobby and Francis, most of the people on linkedin are professionals. HR people are very active in linkedin and maybe you can provide a service to them.

Usually HR people are either recruiting people or looking for things that help with productivity. Services along those lines can peek their interest.
 
I have found that consulting services and training are quite lucrative on LinkedIn. My thoughts are you have to think long and hard about the products you want to market and if it fits LinkedIn's more professional audience.
 
Mostly, the users in LinkedIN are professionals. Professionals that look for new opportunities.

Primarily, you can target individuals who are actively job hunting or looking to grow their careers, especially if your product or service can help them, such as resume-building tools, career coaching services, or professional development courses. You may also target decision-makers, influencers, and professionals across various industries.

Your main market in linkedin will be, industry leaders, professionals, job seekers and corporate companies.
