A website can rank well on Google and still leave people with a bad impression. Maybe the content isn't helpful, the information feels misleading, or visitors can't find what they actually need. How much does a website's reputation matter when it comes to long-term success?

When I visit a website, I usually pay attention to whether it feels trustworthy before relying on the information I find there. Even if it ranks high on Google, I'd hesitate to use it again if something feels off or makes me question its credibility. Getting visitors is one thing, but making them feel comfortable enough to come back is what really matters in the long run.

A website can use the right keywords and show up on Google, but that doesn't mean people will trust it. If I visit a site and the information feels biased, misleading, or just poorly put together, I'd probably think twice before using it again. It might get clicks because of its ranking, but if visitors don't trust what they're reading, they're less likely to come back. I think that's where a website's reputation really matters.

Wait, I honestly thought good SEO meant the website was credible and had reliable information from legitimate sources. Like, the content is complete, the information is useful, and everything is properly organized. I get that ranking well on Google doesn't automatically mean a website is perfect, but wouldn't people eventually notice if the information wasn't reliable? I guess there's more to SEO than I thought.
