Can an advertisement perform well simply because it makes people curious, even without explaining the product?

Some ads leave people wondering what the product is just to get them to click or learn more. That might work in getting attention, but does it actually bring in people who are interested in buying? I'm curious where businesses should draw the line between making an ad intriguing and giving customers enough information to know what they're getting into.

Creating curiosity can be a good way to catch people's attention, but the ad still needs to give them a reason to be interested in the actual product. Getting clicks means very little if visitors leave because they have no idea what the business is offering. A little mystery can work, especially for new product launches, but there should still be enough information to attract the right audience. The goal shouldn't just be to make people curious, but to turn that interest into something meaningful.
