I try to post polls at least once a week while working on bigger projects. They get surprisingly high engagement and usually help me decide what video topic to tackle next.

Polls definitely work better than text or images for me. People love tapping a quick option without having to type out a full comment. It keeps the channel showing up in subscribers' feeds even when upload schedules slow down.

That makes a lot of sense, especially about staying visible in feeds. I started using behind-the-scenes images recently to tease upcoming projects. It really builds anticipation and gets people asking about the release date. Text posts alone seem to get buried though.

I totally agree that text-only posts do pretty poorly compared to media. Adding an image or gif to a quick update instantly boosts impressions. I also like using image polls to let subscribers vote on thumbnail designs or topic ideas. It makes them feel directly involved in the creation process. Plus, the extra engagement seems to tell the algorithm my channel is still active.

Voting on thumbnails is actually a brilliant way to use that feature. I am going to try that for my next upload to see if it helps boost the initial click-through rate.
