Deep linking vs. Homepage links: Which affiliate links convert higher?

When you write product reviews or share recommendations, do you send readers directly to the specific product page or to a curated landing page? What link placement gets you the highest click-to-conversion rate?

I wouldn’t expect one destination to be better than the other. For a review of one product though, I’d link straight to that product so people don’t get lost and have to go searching for it. Landing pages are only good if you want customers to see more information or look at options for your products.
