I think discounts can definitely help new stores get their first few customers, especially when people are still unsure about the brand. The challenge is making sure they come back for the product itself and not just because there’s a discount.

Discounts can bring attention to a new store, but they don’t necessarily mean the people coming in are only looking for cheap prices. Sometimes a good offer is just enough to make someone try a store they haven’t heard of before.
