Some PPC specialists showcase impressive client lists and successful campaigns, while others have smaller portfolios but know how to work within tight budgets. If you were hiring someone to manage your ads, what evidence would convince you that they're worth the investment?

Not necessarily, but a large portfolio can be a sign of consistency and experience with a variety of projects. People want to see enough work to determine your capabilities, so if you have a small portfolio, the quality of your results needs to speak for itself. In contrast, having many projects shows that you can deliver over time. “I believe a good portfolio is about the balance of quality of your work and the consistency to deliver results.

For me, a specialist is worth the investment when their portfolio shows that they can deliver quality work, especially if their rates match the results they bring. A vast portfolio can be reassuring, but that doesn't mean someone with fewer clients can't do an excellent job. Sometimes, one successful campaign with a significant impact says more than dozens of average results. It really comes down to quality over quantity and choosing someone whose skills fit your business needs and budget.
