Setting up a payment account can take longer than expected when you need to submit documents or wait for your identity to be verified. It can be frustrating when you're ready to get started but still can't use the service because verification isn't complete. Have you ever experienced this? How did you deal with the delay, and was there anything that helped speed up the process?

For me, a payment delay can be a reason to put a project on hold, especially if we already agreed on a specific payment date. For example, if I'm working on a commission and the client suddenly tells me the payment will be delayed, I'd probably stop working on it until we sort things out. I can understand that unexpected issues happen, but I'd need a reasonable explanation for the delay. I think it's important to respect the agreed payment terms because my time and work matter, too.

Yeah, I've experienced that, too, but it wasn't really a big deal for me. I just waited for the verification to finish since there's not much else you can do while they're checking your documents. As long as everything goes through eventually, I'm fine with it.

I'd probably try another payment method if the verification process was taking too long. I wouldn't want to keep waiting when there are other options available. If one app is taking too long to get things sorted out, I'd rather find another one that's easier to set up and use.

I think this can be a real issue, especially when you're new to a payment app and have to go through several steps before you can actually use it. I've experienced something similar when a new app was released and I tried to make a purchase through it. It's frustrating when you're ready to pay but still have to deal with the setup and verification process first. Sometimes, you just want to try the app and see how it works without having to go through so many steps right away.
