Sometimes a product looks promising at first but doesn’t end up getting much attention. How long would you usually keep it in your store before deciding it’s time to remove it?

I don’t have personal experience with this, but a lot of companies do remove products that aren’t performing well. It probably makes more sense to focus on the ones that actually sell instead of keeping too many underperforming products around.

It can also help keep the store from feeling cluttered. Having too many products that don’t get much attention can make it harder for customers to find what they’re actually looking for.

Sometimes companies don’t remove them at all, especially if the product doesn’t take up much space or still gets occasional sales.

In some cases, I think it makes perfect sense to cut a losing product. Doing so reduces inventory costs and allows the seller to focus on more popular items. In my opinion, an item that rarely sells should not take up valuable space in the inventory for too long.
