I once followed a brand because I liked its products, but over time, my feed started feeling like one long sales pitch. Almost every post was pushing a discount or telling people to buy, and there wasn’t much else worth engaging with. Have you ever unfollowed a brand because its promotions became too much?

I haven’t unfollowed a brand for that reason, but I usually pay attention to businesses that are consistent with their work and the quality of their products. It can get annoying when the marketing starts to feel forced, though. I’d rather support a business that shows genuine effort in what it does.

It depends on what kind of promotion it is. I am not expecting a brand to advertise solely through promotions. If I start getting tired of the same story being told over and over, I would unfollow the brand. On the other hand, I would be more influenced by honest and authentic campaigns. In my opinion, promotional content should be complemented by other material, such as brand ambassadors and testimonials.

I agree, the way a brand communicates matters just as much as what it offers. People are more likely to stay interested when the messaging feels genuine and gives them a reason to trust the brand, rather than making every interaction feel like a sales pitch.

For me, it’s less about how often a brand promotes its products and more about how pushy it gets with customers. Constantly pressuring people to buy can be irritating, even if salespeople are simply doing their jobs. Online ads and product recommendations are normal, so I don’t mind seeing them as long as I’m not being pressured into making a purchase. Still, I understand why some people would unfollow a brand if its approach becomes too intrusive.
