Is it better to learn one marketing skill deeply or be okay at everything?

I’m trying to figure out if I should focus 100% on learning copywriting first, or if I should learn a little bit of design, ads, and email all at once. What route did you take when you were brand new?

Personally, I’d focus on copywriting first, then learn enough design and email. Then use that in a small project, like a landing page and welcome email. By doing that, it gives you something concrete to improve without taking four courses at once which I think will not allow you to master anything. Let the gaps in the project guide what you learn next.
