Is ranking on Google really enough to bring in customers?

I've been curious about how SEO works beyond just getting a website to the first page of Google. A business can rank high for certain keywords, but that doesn't guarantee people will click on the website or actually buy something. I feel like the content, what people are searching for, and how easy the website is to use all play a role, too. Getting people to visit your website is one thing, but convincing them to become customers is a different challenge.

I don't think ranking high on Google is enough on its own. You might get plenty of visitors, but if your website doesn't give them what they're looking for, they'll probably leave without buying anything. That's why I feel like businesses should focus on attracting the right people, not just getting more traffic. It's better to have fewer visitors who are genuinely interested in your products or services than thousands of people who have no intention of becoming customers.

Not necessarily, but ranking on Google can be a big advantage since it's one of the first places people go when they're looking for something. Getting your website in front of them is already a good start, especially when they're actively searching for a product or service. But what happens after they click matters just as much. If your website gives them useful information and makes it easy to take the next step, you're more likely to turn those visits into actual customers.
