Photos and videos can grab people's attention, but sometimes a written post is better at explaining something in detail. It probably depends on what you're trying to promote and who you're trying to reach. If you were marketing a product, how would you decide whether to use visuals, text, or a mix of both?

Visual content is much more effective nowadays, especially since people tend to scroll through social media quickly. Photos and videos can catch their attention in just a few seconds, which gives businesses a better chance of getting noticed. Text still has its purpose, but I feel like visuals are more useful when you want to make people stop scrolling and take an interest in what you're offering.

I feel like text-based marketing can sometimes come across as fake or suspicious, especially when people are used to receiving scam messages through texts or emails. It's harder to tell whether an offer is genuine when there's nothing visual to back it up. Photos and videos can make a product feel more real and give people a better idea of what they're getting. That's why I'd lean more toward visual content, especially when promoting something people need to see before they decide to buy.

I would beg to differ, visual content isn't automatically better than text-based marketing. It's just that a lot of people find it easier to understand something when they can see it through pictures or videos. But posting a video without any text to explain what it's about can still leave people confused. I feel like both work better together because visuals can catch people's attention, while text helps explain the message and gives them a clearer idea of what you're trying to promote.
