Some creators are given products by brands and talk about their honest opinion without being paid for it. But even if they're not making money on it, they still get something. Should they mention that in their content, do you think? If I know the product was gifted, I would change my perception of their review.

Creators should always disclose when they receive free products from brands. Even if they're not getting paid, they're still receiving something in exchange for promoting or reviewing the product. Personally, knowing that a product was gifted would change how I perceive the review because I would wonder if the creator's opinion was influenced by the brand. Being transparent about these arrangements matters, especially when the audience trusts their recommendations and uses them to decide what to buy.

Not necessarily but I think it would still be good to mention it. It gives creators an opportunity to produce content without spending any of their own money. This means that it can create a win win situation. By being open about it they help the audience understand the situation yet still lets them make their own opinions about the review.
