Should Online Sellers Show the Final Price Upfront?

It's frustrating to find a product at an attractive price, only to discover additional charges at checkout. Delivery fees, service charges, and other costs can change whether the purchase is actually affordable. Would you be more likely to buy from a store that shows the full price from the beginning?

I feel more confident buying from stores that show the full price upfront because I know exactly how much I need to pay. I also prefer paying in full rather than seeing prices broken into installments, since the total can be confusing and sometimes much higher than expected. I'd rather compare the actual prices from different stores than get attracted to a small payment amount without knowing the full cost right away.

I'd be more comfortable buying from a seller who’s upfront about the costs. Even if the delivery fee changes, at least they explain it clearly instead of surprising you at checkout. That kind of transparency makes the seller seem more trustworthy, and I'd be more likely to buy from someone who’s honest about what I’m actually paying.

I don't think showing the full price upfront works the same way in every situation. For expensive products, seeing the total amount can feel overwhelming, but knowing that monthly installments are available can make the purchase feel more manageable. Even I would be more interested in asking about a product if the monthly payments fit my budget. As long as the seller is transparent about the interest and extra charges, installment options can make expensive purchases feel more within reach.

I'd prefer seeing the full price upfront so I know exactly how much I'm paying. If the seller offers monthly installments, they can list that as another option for customers who can't pay the full amount at once. That way, buyers can compare their options and decide what works for their budget without getting surprised by extra charges at checkout.

I like stores that are straightforward about their prices without making customers go through extra steps just to know the total. It's honestly surprising when you think you've found something affordable, only to find out that it's not even the final price yet. Being upfront about all the charges makes shopping less confusing and helps customers decide without any unexpected costs.
