I got my first inquiry from an overseas customer today. What processor makes handling currency conversion painless for both sides?

Using a reliable payment gateway like Stripe or PayPal is one of the easiest ways to accept international payments. Choose a provider that supports your country, currency conversion, and secure checkout.

completely agree. Stripe has become very common nowadays, though the standard for the longest time for online payments had been paypal but they charge so many fees sometimes i wonder if it's worth it.

PayPal seems like one of the simpler options to start with since it’s widely used and pretty straightforward for international payments. I’d probably start there and look into other options once the volume picks up.

Wise is another option worth checking out, especially for getting paid in different currencies. It can be pretty handy for international payments and may help avoid some of the extra fees from other platforms.

I use Wise too, along with PayPal and Stripe. Having a few different options gives me more flexibility depending on how the payment is being sent.

Yeah, having a few different options is a good thing. It gives customers more ways to pay, just make sure you can keep track of everything properly.
