When I first joined forums, seeing acronyms like CTR, CPC, ROI, and DA felt like reading a foreign language. What was the one piece of marketing jargon that took you forever to understand?

ROI took me a while to understand too. I’d see it mentioned all the time, but I didn’t really get how it applied to actual results until I started looking at how much was spent versus what came back.

I’m more comfortable with the internet side of things, so dealing with numbers and their technical meanings has never been my strongest suit. Depreciation was one term that really tripped me up because understanding how an asset loses value over time sounds simple, but the actual calculations took some getting used to.
