What Makes You Ignore a Marketing Message?

I tend to lose interest when a marketing message keeps pushing a product without giving me a good reason to care about it. Sometimes, the message is all about buying now, limited offers, or how great the product is, but it doesn't explain why it would be useful to me. I'd rather pay attention to something that feels relevant to my needs than a message that seems focused only on making a sale. What usually makes you scroll past a promotion?

What annoys me is seeing the same product ad over and over, especially when I'm clearly not interested in it. Like, why am I still seeing the same ad for three days straight? It gets annoying after a while, but I also understand that the people running those ads are just doing their job. Still, seeing the same product repeatedly doesn't make me want to buy it. If anything, it just makes me want to scroll past it even faster.

I usually scroll past marketing messages that feel like obvious rage bait or are just too ridiculous to be true. Sometimes the claims are so over the top that I wonder if anyone actually believes them. Instead of making me interested in the product, it just makes me question the brand and whether they're being honest with their audience.
